Happy New Year!
I certainly didn't intend to abandon this blog for three months, but it's easy to be swept away with everyday life!

Not much particularly blog-worthy has been happening in our home lately, but we are enjoying days with friends, homeschool activities, and playing outside.
Winter has finally arrived with the new year, and I have lots of plans for our learning adventures in the New Year, and many goals as far as the house is concerned. I hope to share soon!
Hi, I'm here visiting from Like Mother, Like Daughter! I just had to ask where you got these beautiful figures? They remind me so much of my childhood in the Northwest Territories. Thanks!

Hi Lindsey! They are made by Ostheimer Toys of Germany. The best source in the US (in my opinion) is The Wooden Wagon: http://thewoodenwagon.com/woodentoys/ostheimer-farm.html. I'm not actually sure the Inuit figures are available anymore, but the animals/scenery are and they have a large variety. We love them and have been collecting for a long time.
