A few months ago I bought some Magic Mud (natural clay) at the craft store. We worked with it once, but never went back to it. Last week, M. asked if he could play with it during our art time.
He spent over an hour creating with it! He even refused lunch!
He made various trucks and trains, and when he was finally done asked if we could leave them out. They dried pretty well!
This is just a mere fraction of the mess left behind, but it was so worth it!
Great! John still spends his time with Play-Doh breaking it into miniscule bits and throwing hundreds of them on the floor, so we haven't been allowing much Play-Doh lately.
