Wallpaper

This is the wallpaper in our dining room (currently used as a playroom). Interesting, no? It seems people either love it or hate it. I love it, but not for a playroom!

  1. I like the wallpaper, too! It's too bad that you can't salvage it for another room. I bet that you can find a way to frame part of it though.

  2. That is a fantastic idea, Emma! I will definitely find a way to do that. The entryway has coordinating paper-- just the wreaths of leaves. Pretty, but dark in an already darkish area.

  3. Hi, it's my first time at your blog, and so far I've enjoyed my visit!

No thoughts or suggestions on the wallpaper (except that I love the character with the chair rail and contrasting paper below, our houses must be of similar vintage!)

What caught my eye was your statement that your dining room is a playroom--lol--ours, too! I often think of the kind of snide comments we'd get if a designer ever took a tour through our home, like they do on HGTV. "Is this a house or a day care? I'm confused." :)

And I haven't had a chance to read it yet, but I'm very interested in your post(s?) on "Commitment to Loveliness." I could use some of that, I'm sure!

    Warmly,
    Eileen

  4. Oh, Eileen, you made me laugh...house or daycare?!? Yep, that describes us, though we don't have quite enought kids yet! Lord willing, though! :-)

The Commitment to Loveliness is actually an idea of Emma's (http://charmingthebirdsfromthetrees.blogspot.com). She has a lovely blog, and she's an even lovelier lady! You should definitely stop over there!

Thanks for visiting my blog. :-)
