I felt a loss hearing that she'd died. I loved the Wrinkle in Time books I read as a kid, and I am priviledged to have an autographed copy of "Many Waters".
While I suspect we'd have disagreed a bit theologically, I just loved her stories. And one line from the cantankerous cheribum in "A Wind at the Door" has stuck with me all thru the years: "Love is not what you feel, it's what you DO"
Wind at the Door was my favorite of all her books.
Oh, I'd not heard that.
ReplyDeleteI've never gotten into her books, but I know many who love them.
May her Memory be Eternal.
Eternal Rest grant unto her O Lord.
